The UK
Hotspot Register

A working catalogue of the UK's high-strangeness clusters: places where sightings, cryptids, lights and the unexplained pile up in one patch of ground. Each entry is rated on two axes and sorted by how well it actually holds up.

How each site is scored

A · StrangenessHow anomalous and how varied the reported phenomena are. High means many kinds of strangeness, tightly clustered.
B · EvidenceQuality of the record: witness calibre, contemporaneous documentation, physical traces, independence from tabloid amplification.
ThresholdThe dashed marker sits at 60, the working bar for a case worth serious follow-up.

Standing

Well-documented: strong, independent, on record
Mixed: real reports, heavy amplification
Volume-driven: many reports, thin proof
